Common questions about Soleil Technologies

Answers to frequent questions about what Soleil does, the financing models we support, and how we work with partners.

About Soleil Technologies

Soleil is a technology and operations company. We enable structured asset financing and commerce journeys. We work with banks, merchants, institutions, and strategic partners to coordinate the full customer journey, from onboarding through to fulfillment and ongoing engagement.

No. Soleil is not a bank, a lender, or a financial product provider. We do not hold funds, grant credit, or issue financial instruments. Soleil operates in the execution layer. We provide the operational infrastructure that allows financing models to be delivered well.

Soleil is designed for multi-market deployment. Specific market presence and operational details are available through direct engagement with the team. Please contact us to discuss your market context.

Soleil works with banks and financing institutions, merchants and retail groups, OEMs and distributors, payroll-linked ecosystems, and strategic enterprise partners. The company is designed for institutional and large-scale commercial deployment.

Financing Models We Support

Soleil supports many models. These include asset financing, BNPL, payroll-linked schemes, employer programs, and merchant-led commerce. We can also support structured Sharia-aligned models. To see how the Sharia-aligned route works, visit our dedicated approach page.

No. Soleil does not provide compliance or advisory services. The responsibility for product compliance rests with the financing institution. Soleil supports the execution of the commercial model in a way that reflects its intended structure.

For any structured financing model, execution is not a secondary concern. It is part of the structure itself. Unclear roles, unconfirmed delivery, or incomplete records can hurt the integrity of the model. Soleil exists to make sure execution supports intent.

For Banks & Institutions

Soleil provides an execution infrastructure layer for banks and financing institutions, covering customer onboarding, eligibility journey management, merchant coordination, fulfillment management, customer engagement, and operational reporting. Banks retain full ownership of their product design, credit decisions, and compliance obligations.

No. Soleil is designed to work alongside and integrate with existing bank systems and processes. The specific integration architecture is determined during the engagement design process based on the institution's existing infrastructure.

Soleil's execution model is built to keep financing structures intact. We do this through clear role definition, structured confirmation logic, and full record-keeping. The responsibility for product-level regulatory compliance rests with the relevant institution.

Yes. Soleil's execution infrastructure can be configured for different product types, different eligibility frameworks, and different operating parameters. The company is designed to support multiple asset categories and financing structures within its operational model.

For Merchants

Soleil provides a structured merchant coordination layer, defining the merchant's role in the financed commerce journey, managing order flow between institution and merchant, and supporting fulfillment coordination. Merchants participating in institutional-backed commerce through the Soleil model benefit from clearer expectations, better order visibility, and stronger operational support.

Soleil works with merchants across multiple categories, including electronics and devices, household goods and appliances, multi-category retail, franchise networks, and online or omnichannel retailers. The model is suitable for merchants of significant scale who participate in institutional or employer-linked commerce programs.

No. Soleil does not handle merchant payments or settlement. Commercial arrangements between the financing institution and the merchant are managed by those parties. Soleil manages the operational coordination around the commerce journey.

The Customer Journey

A customer entering through a Soleil-supported channel proceeds through a structured journey: channel entry, onboarding and data intake, eligibility assessment, product selection, order validation, fulfillment, and ongoing engagement. Each stage is designed to be clear, coherent, and properly coordinated.

Customer-facing access is provided through institutional, merchant, or partner channels, not directly through Soleil as a standalone consumer brand. Soleil operates in the infrastructure layer behind the customer-facing experience.

Customer data is managed in accordance with applicable data protection requirements and in line with the data governance frameworks of the relevant financing institution and partner. Specific data handling practices are detailed in engagement documentation.

Technology & Infrastructure

Soleil's infrastructure spans seven layers: intake and onboarding, eligibility and rules, commerce and product, workflow coordination, fulfillment and confirmation, customer engagement, and reporting and visibility. Each layer supports a specific stage of the commerce journey.

Soleil's integration approach is designed around working with existing institutional infrastructure, core banking systems, merchant platforms, logistics providers, and communication channels. Specific integration architecture is determined during the engagement design process.

Yes. Soleil's infrastructure is built around repeatable operating logic, designed to support growth from initial deployment through significant scale. The same well-designed model can be deployed across multiple channels and markets.

Working with Soleil

The engagement process typically begins with an initial discussion to understand your institution's model, operating context, and objectives. From there, Soleil works with you to design the appropriate execution model. Please contact us to begin this conversation.

It is helpful to have a clear understanding of your financing product structure, your target customer segments, your existing channel and merchant relationships, and your key operational challenges. But there is no formal requirement, an initial conversation can begin with any level of preparation.

Implementation timelines depend on the complexity of the model, the extent of integration required, and the readiness of partner infrastructure. Specific timelines are discussed and agreed during the engagement design process.
